An exciting opportunity for the Puff community to engage in a unique Community Prediction Market (CPM) directly on our Discord platform. This initiative allows participants to predict key outcomes (tournament winner and top goal scorer) of the tournament using $USDT, $mETH, and $PUFF. Each round offers independent opportunities to place predictions, with options to adjust strategies and hedge bets.
Game Dynamics
R1, participants placed their predictions for the "Team to Win" and "Top Goal Scorer" of the tournament.
R2 focused on adjusting their strategies based on the outcomes of the initial matches. This round allowed for hedging of Round 1 predictions and included new, independent prediction opportunities for advancing teams and players.
R3, for the Quarterfinals (QF), introduced the challenge of predicting the correct score for each of the four QFs. Participants earned 10 points for nailing the exact score in 90 minutes and 4 points for getting the game direction right (1, X, 2). Multiple prediction tickets could be submitted to increase the chances of winning.
Reward
Prize Pool: Increases with more participants joining the CPM.
Incentives: A 1% donation charge per prediction contributes to the Rescue Morty Fund.
Additional Rounds: Opportunity to adjust strategies in subsequent rounds and potentially predict individual game outcomes based on community requests.
Points Distribution: In R3, participants earned points ranging from 0 to 40, with rewards distributed proportionally based on these points. Puff per point was calculated as Total Puff Pot divided by Total Participant Points, determining each participant's Puff return by multiplying their points by this value.
